New Answer handoffs straight from email

A workspace for two companies

Two companies.
One source of truth.

Beevyl is the neutral, time-boxed workspace for everything that crosses the line between two companies working together — handoffs, blockers, decisions and documents — and it winds down cleanly when the work ends.

Why Beevyl exists

Email plus a shared board was never a system. When two companies work together, the joint work lives in threads, attachments and someone’s memory — and nobody owns the truth. Beevyl owns only the joint layer: each side keeps its own tools for its own work.

The spine of the product

Handoff. Blocker.
Decision. Teardown.

Four objects no generic project tool treats seriously — because they only exist where two companies meet.

01

Handoffs are first-class objects

The cross-company dependency, modeled as a real thing — not a task with a comment thread. What's being handed over, the acceptance criteria, the due date, and a response clock ticking from the moment it's proposed.

  • Lifecycle both sides can see: Proposed → Accepted → In progress → Delivered → Confirmed
  • Dispute or return with a reason — nothing dies silently
  • Time-to-accept and time-to-deliver, measured automatically

02

Blockers that cross the org line

When the other company is the bottleneck, a comment gets ignored. Beevyl gives the blocker an aging clock both sides can see — and an escalation path that fires on its own: first the named counterpart, then their workspace lead.

  • Raise a blocker on any task or handoff, naming who's blocking and why
  • Visible aging — awkward in exactly the right way
  • A blocker board ranked by age and impact

03

A decisions log neither side can rewrite

The append-only record of what was actually agreed: the question, the outcome, the rationale, and who signed off from each side. Decisions can be superseded by a later decision — never silently edited.

  • Sign-off from both companies, on the record
  • Linked to the handoffs, tasks and documents it affects
  • Settles the "but you said…" dispute before it starts

04

Every workspace ends well

Joint work is time-boxed — the tool should know it. Mark a workspace Closing and Beevyl runs the wind-down: each company exports its data, a closeout summary is generated, and the workspace freezes into a read-only archive.

  • Closeout summary: decisions made, handoffs completed, open items, key dates
  • Portable export for each company
  • Closed workspaces are read-only — and free, forever

Slack & Microsoft Teams

The other side moved.
You'll know.

A handoff proposed, a blocker escalated, a decision waiting on your signature — Beevyl posts it into your own Slack or Teams channel, with a link straight back to it. Each company connects its own channel, and each notice goes only to the side that has something to do about it.

  • Outbound only — no bot, no slash commands, nothing read back
  • Your channel is yours: the counterparty never sees where it points
  • Connected by your own admin in about two minutes

Answer from email

No account. No password.
Just answer.

Most of the people you work with will never log in to a tool just to say yes. Now they don't have to: a proposed handoff arrives as an email with Accept and Return on it, and the answer lands on the record exactly as if they'd given it in the app.

  • Personal, signed links — opening one changes nothing until a person presses the button
  • Answering the first handoff also accepts their invitation
  • The activity feed and audit trail mark every answer “via email”
